The annual meeting of the West Virginia Archeological Society (WVAS) is held each fall. Locations vary each year. The meeting begins at 8:00 am with registration and usually ends around 5:00 pm. Throughout the day, presentations are given about current research and archaeological projects taking place throughout West Virginia and the Ohio Valley. Everyone is welcome!

The consulting conservator’s report, which was received in March, included a general conservation assessment and storage plan, with prioritized recommendations for action. The 2012 Annual meeting of the WVAS will be held November 3 at the Wingate Inn in South Charleston, WV. registration will begin at 8:00 am. Registration is $7 for members, $10 for non-members,and $5 for students.
The 2011 meeting of the West Virginia Archeological Society will be on Saturday, October 22 at the Wingate Inn in South Charleston.
